I’m a graphic designer and art director with a practical, collaborative approach. Design, to me, is about problem-solving—translating ideas into clear, effective visuals that serve a purpose. I believe great design begins with listening: understanding your goals, your audience, and your message.

My goal is to deliver work that is professional, accessible, and aligned with your vision.

After earning my BA in Journalism and Visual Communication from UNC Chapel Hill, I worked in advertising and freelanced for a variety of clients before joining an in-house team at a major New York-based company. In 2006, I founded Jody Matthews Design, a studio built on strong client relationships and smart, effective design solutions.
